Context

The power sector is undergoing significant change, with a growing focus on renewable energy. GEMS Iberia has created a new team, RES Operations (RES OPS), to support this growth.

The RES OPS team is responsible for ensuring operational excellence in real-time environments, providing tools for managing portfolio contracts, and maintaining high-quality data for renewable assets management.


Job Description

We are seeking a Renewable Portfolio Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the RES OPS team, you will play a crucial role in developing new systems and processes to support our business challenges.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing a deep understanding of our business and processes to propose innovative solutions
  • Building new data flows required for the business
  • Improving existing processes to ensure scalability
  • Interacting with service providers to maintain existing data flows
  • Applying data management best practices to ensure data quality

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Familiarity with Finance and/or Energy fields
  • Experience in coding and scripting with Python
  • Data management skills
  • Comfort with collaboration and open communication
  • Experience with Dataiku or AWS is a plus

Languages

Fluent English is required, and Spanish is a plus.
