Digital Ethics Researcher for AI4S Dual-Use Technologies

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Researcher in Digital Ethics for Dual-Use Technologies to join our team at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC).
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will lead the integration of a digital ethics research line into current and further developments, including abductive reasoning, anticipation, code of ethics, death in AI and Robots, morality of constructed spaces, and natural interrelation of facts and values. They will also interact with different partners of several National, European and Pan-European research projects, contribute to scientific publications, and report to different projects.
Requirements:
A PhD degree in Cognitive Science and Language, with a strong focus on technology considering technical, ethical, and socio-cultural dimensions, is required. At least 4 years of post-doctoral position, knowledge in the relation between moral values and technology, and international experience are essential. Fluency in English is also required, and proficiency in Spanish and other European languages would be advantageous.
