Digital Ethics Researcher for Dual-Use Technologies

At the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), we are seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our team in the Computer Applications in Science and Engineering (CASE) department. The successful candidate will be part of the BSC Dual-Use Technologies group and will work on the AI4Science Fellowships (AI4S) program.
About the Role:We are looking for a researcher with a strong background in cognitive science and language, with a focus on technology considering technical, ethical, and socio-cultural dimensions. The ideal candidate will have a PhD degree and at least 4 years of post-doctoral experience. They will be responsible for leading the integration of a digital ethics for dual-use technologies research line into current and further developments, interacting with partners of several National, European, and Pan-European research projects, and contributing to scientific publications.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and lead research projects on digital ethics for dual-use technologies
- Collaborate with international partners on research projects
- Contribute to scientific publications and reports
- PhD degree in Cognitive Science and Language
- At least 4 years of post-doctoral experience
- Strong knowledge of digital ethics and cognitive science
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
