Position Overview:

  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture robust relationships with key clients in the renewable energy sector, serving as the primary contact to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and implement sales strategies aimed at achieving revenue objectives for green energy products, including solar, wind, and other renewable solutions.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing key accounts, exploring potential expansions of product offerings and services to meet client requirements, including risk management services.
  • Market Intelligence: Remain updated on market trends, competitor actions, and regulatory changes in the renewable energy sector, providing insights that inform sales strategies.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for power purchase agreements (PPAs) and other contracts, ensuring favorable terms for both the organization and the client while adhering to regulatory compliance and risk management.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including project development, legal, finance, and technical departments, to ensure the smooth execution of projects and contracts.
  • Sales Performance Reporting: Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and key account activities (SalesForce, CRM), providing analysis and recommendations for optimizing sales strategies.
  • Client Education: Inform clients about the advantages of green energy solutions, sustainability initiatives, and the environmental benefits of renewable energy projects.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively address and resolve any concerns raised by key accounts, working collaboratively with internal teams to implement effective solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, environmental science, or a related discipline; an advanced degree (MBA, MSc) is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in key account management, sales, or business development within the renewable energy sector, with a focus on green energy products.
  • In-depth understanding of renewable energy technologies, market dynamics, and sustainability trends.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of articulating complex concepts to clients.
  • Self-motivated with strong teamwork abilities.
  • Customer risk management orientation.
  • Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements pertaining to green energy sales and renewable energy projects.
  • Analytical skills for evaluating market trends, identifying opportunities, and refining sales strategies.
  • Passion for sustainability and a commitment to advancing environmentally friendly energy solutions.

Language Proficiency:

  • Proficient in English (B2 level)
  • High proficiency in Spanish
