Video Content Strategist

As a Video Content Strategist, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our brand's presence on YouTube and other video platforms. Your expertise will help us craft engaging stories that educate and inspire our audience on topics like privacy, security, and online freedom.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute video content strategies that drive engagement and growth on YouTube and other platforms
- Collaborate with internal experts, motion designers, and marketers to enhance our video content and increase its distribution channels
- Align with our overall video strategy and help establish Proton as a leading video content creator
- Stay up-to-date with competitor strategies, propose, and test new content ideas
- Maintain consistency in video production and publishing, and optimize content based on performance metrics
- 4+ years of hands-on experience strategizing and producing video content on YouTube or a similar role in the Media industry
- Technical understanding of technology, internet, privacy, and security
- Experience managing video content for performance and quality
- Proven experience with creating, managing, and growing large YouTube channels
- Strategic approach in researching/choosing topics (SEO) and adapting to various audiences
- Outstanding understanding and knowledge of the YouTube platform
- Independent, self-motivated, and proactive with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to a brand's personality and TOV
- Native and flawless written and spoken English skills
- Experience with multi-brand, multilingual communities and channels
- Previous journalistic experience/podcasting experience
- Experience in the tech or SaaS industry
- Experience with both B2C and B2B marketing
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, always-on startup environments
