Job Title: Risk Specialist - Greek Language Expert

Teleperformance Spain is a leading customer experience management company, employing over 4,700 people in 10 sites across the country. We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

As a Risk Specialist, you will be responsible for protecting our users and their customers from various risks associated with payments. Your primary task will be to review businesses that wish to use or are currently using our platform, verifying and validating information provided by merchants. You will compare specific details from the account application against supporting documentation, such as website scans or internal/external databases, to evaluate merchants for potential risks.

Responsibilities
  1. Verify all required details have been submitted with the application for processing.
  2. Examine and validate the identity of the merchant to ensure the information submitted is valid.
  3. Perform checks in internal and external databases to verify information provided and confirm supportability of the merchant.
  4. Identify and document inaccuracies which raise red flags that require intervention and follow up with the merchant.
  5. Investigate and compare the items sold on the merchant's website to information provided on the product description, merchant industry, and charges.
  6. Reference an internal supportability list and judge whether the merchant is in compliance with our clients' guidelines.
  7. Ensure no items being sold on the merchant's site violate these guidelines.
  8. Categorize the business using a list of guidelines and identify businesses as supportable, prohibited, or in need of small changes to their business model.
Requirements
  • Native level of Greek.
  • Fluent in English (C1 or higher).
  • Fluency with internet and social media research, as demonstrated by at least 1 year of experience with computers.
  • Ability to be detail-oriented and meticulous, noticing when information from multiple sources do not match up.
