Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team at Gartner. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing and controlling all in-country finance & accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage compliance and controls within corporate and country requirements.
  • Manage the country's implementation of all Finance & Accounting Global and local processes and requirements.
  • Provide financial and accounting advice, guidance, and support to Corporate Services partners and BU Leaders.
  • Oversee Accounting & all reporting for both Statutory and US GAAP requirements for the Spain entities.
  • Lead and coordinate preparation and execution of Month/Quarterly/Year-end accounting closing process.
  • Lead preparation and execution of Legal financial accounts and any other Legal Finance reporting.
  • Lead relationship with external Statutory Auditors and the execution of Legal Statutory Audits processes.
  • Internal control enforcement and control the application of global policies & procedures and ensure full compliance with country legal requirements.
  • Tax compliance: Lead preparation and execution of VAT and indirect tax returns, support Tax team to the execution of corporate Returns and any Tax Audits.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in managing compliance and controls. You will also need to have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
