Job Title: Science Education Specialist

Join the European Space Agency as a Science Education Specialist and play a key role in shaping the next generation of space scientists and explorers.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to coordinate and manage the CESAR education initiative. As a Science Education Specialist, you will be responsible for defining, executing, monitoring, and evaluating education activities that promote the exploration of the Solar System and the Universe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate CESAR efforts with main partners (INTA and ISDEFE) and the ESA Education Office on activities such as school and university visits, educational material creation, and training opportunities for school teachers.
  • Develop and manage regular CESAR training opportunities for school teachers and oversee other educational events, including video-conferences and remote operations of CESAR educational telescopes.
  • Ensure optimal access to educational resources via the continuous improvement of the CESAR educational website.
  • Support the Head of the Science Communication and Education section in planning and implementing the optimal use of SCI resources dedicated to communication and education.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in science education and communication. The ideal candidate will have excellent coordination and project management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
