About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AI Researcher to join our team at Amazon. As a Lead Generative AI Expert, you will play a key role in advancing our conversational AI capabilities and driving business impact through your research and expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a strategic advisor to various business teams, providing practical advice on Generative AI and communicating recommendations to leadership.
  • Identify business problems that may impact customers in the future and propose solutions that leverage decades of published scientific research and business judgment.
  • Deliver major new science-heavy product launches with org-wide scope and impact, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate scientific knowledge into product development, improving customer experience and driving business results.
Requirements
  • PhD degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics.
  • 20+ years of experience in the field of AI research and development.
  • A track record of world-class publication in related disciplines, demonstrating expertise in both theory and practice of AI.
  • Exceptional customer relationship skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical information to various audiences.
  • Experience in developing intellectual property and influencing standards bodies.
