We are seeking a highly skilled ATC On Board Design Engineering Leader to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing ATC On Board Systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Develop fully functional ATC On-Board System Descriptions and Installation Proposals, taking into account specific project requirements and rules.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop system interfaces and ensure seamless integration with other project systems.
- Liaise with RAM, Safety, and V&V teams to ensure design requirements and decisions are properly communicated and assessed.
- Take ownership of system performance and ensure project performance requirements are met.
- Manage technical data collection and ensure data books are up-to-date.
- Participate in Gate Reviews and provide status updates on system activities.
- Support application projects in ATC ONB current and future projects.
- University degree in engineering related to electric, electronic, or automation processes.
- 3 years of internal experience as OnBoard Railways Engineer or similar in other markets.
- At least 1 year of experience as a system engineer.
- Technical knowledge of signalling, ERTMS, TCMS, MVB, ATP, ATO, SIFA, system design, installation design, installation verification, and data preparation.
- Knowledge of UNISIG Subsets, especially Subset-026, 108, 027, and 076 is an advantage.
- Fluent command of English, with mastery in reading and writing; French is desirable.
- Windows environment proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
