We are seeking an entry-level Insurance Verification Representative to work closely with our Insurance Billing team. This role primarily involves contacting insurance companies via phone to obtain essential benefits information for our users. As an Insurance Verification Representative, you will be responsible for working closely with our Insurance Billing team and customer support team to verify patient insurance coverage and benefits.

Here are some key responsibilities of this role:

  • Contacting insurance companies via phone calls to verify patient insurance coverage and benefits
  • Collecting and accurately recording information related to insurance coverage, co-pays, and deductibles
  • Updating patient accounts with verified insurance information to ensure proper billing and processing of their order
  • Communicating with insurance agents
  • Validating if the patient's needed service can be serviced or not
  • Tagging tickets
  • Tagging orders in the system
