Key Responsibilities

  • Independently process payroll end-to-end to ensure accurate and timely delivery, adhering to agreed-upon processing calendars and KPIs.
  • Support statutory and year-end reporting, maintaining high standards of quality and adherence to agreed-upon calendars and KPIs.
  • Utilize payroll expertise to advise on client queries and ensure a strong understanding of country-specific legislation and tasks.
  • Support knowledge transfer and training for apprentices and associates on data management and customer service activities.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality responses to tickets and calls, adhering to SLA timescales.
  • Contribute to system maintenance testing and liaise with third parties as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with SOC controls.
  • Participate in root cause analysis to identify and prevent future issues.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and ensure audience understanding and application.
  • Maintain up-to-date DWIs to reflect current processes and services.
  • Report system issues and defects accurately, logging tickets with necessary details and evidence.
  • Highlight deviations from standard scope of service to the Service Manager.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Accurately record time and adhere to Alight Security Standards.
  • Contribute to team meetings and raise issues promptly to the Service Manager.
  • Stay informed about Alight announcements and communications.
  • Build relationships with relevant lines of business.
  • Update internal stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner.

Performance Monitoring Criteria

  • Adherence to security and compliance procedures.
  • 100% attainment of customer SLA agreements.
  • Adherence to quality standards.
  • Demonstration of professionalism and responsible behavior.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Flexibility to support a global and fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivation and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment, as well as independently, while adhering to processes and procedures.

Education and Training

  • BA/BS in a business-related field, such as Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in payroll administration or health and welfare/benefits in an HR consulting, HR outsourcing, or corporate environment.
  • HRIS knowledge, including Workday, SAP, or PeopleSoft, is preferred.
