Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently process payroll end-to-end to ensure timely delivery and adherence to agreed-upon KPIs.
  • Support statutory and year-end reporting to meet agreed-upon deadlines and KPIs.
  • Utilize payroll expertise to advise clients on queries and issues, ensuring a strong understanding of country-specific legislation.
  • Support and knowledge transfer to apprentices and associates on data management and customer service activities.
  • Ensure timely response to tickets and calls within SLA timescales and to a high standard.
  • Support system maintenance testing and liaise with third-party vendors.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and prevent future issues.
  • Maintain data warehouse integrity to ensure processes are up-to-date and reflective of the service.
  • Report system issues and defects accurately, logging tickets with necessary details and evidence.
  • Highlight deviations from standard scope of service to the service manager.
  • Recognize and handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Accurately record time and adhere to Alight security standards.
  • Contribute to team meetings and raise issues promptly to the service manager.
  • Stay up-to-date with Alight announcements and communications.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and update them as needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Flexibility to support a global and fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Self-motivation and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment, as well as independently.

Education and Experience:

  • BA/BS in a business-related field, such as accounting, human resources, or business administration.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience administering payroll or health and welfare/benefits in an HR consulting, HR outsourcing, or corporate environment.
  • HRIS knowledge, including Workday, SAP, or PeopleSoft, is preferred.
