Job Title: Data Governance Lead

As a Data Governance Lead at Amaris Consulting, you will play a critical role in shaping our organization's data governance strategy and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. With a strong background in data governance and compliance, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data governance framework that aligns with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a data governance framework that ensures data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across the organization.
  • Lead the integration of data governance tools and technologies to enhance data analytics, reporting capabilities, and decision-making processes.
  • Establish and maintain policies, standards, and guidelines that govern the collection, storage, access, and use of data within the company.
  • Conduct detailed data audits and assessments to identify compliance risks, data quality issues, and inefficiencies.
  • Engage with IT, legal, security, and business stakeholders to ensure continuous alignment of data governance activities with business objectives and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Law, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or compliance, with a strong background in implementing and managing Informatica data governance tools.
  • Proven expertise in Snowflake, Power BI, and other data governance and analytics tools.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of data protection laws and regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA), with a track record of implementing effective data compliance programs.
