Cybersecurity Specialist - Data Protection Expert

About the Role

Enverus Holdings, Inc. is a leading provider of business-critical insights to the global energy industry. We are seeking a highly driven Cybersecurity Specialist - Data Protection Expert to join our Information Technology team in a remote location. This role offers the opportunity to work with a rapidly growing company delivering industry-leading solutions to customers in the world's most dynamic and fastest growing sector.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Protect information assets by identifying and escalating security events in accordance with local policy and procedure.
  2. Collaborate with functional teams to remediate defined risks.
  3. Recommend changes or improvements to current systems to enhance security.
  4. Ensure company information assets are up-to-date with security tools and meet our requirements.
  5. Provide supporting documentation, policy, and procedure maintenance.
  6. Participate in general security or compliance-related projects as assigned.
  7. Respond to unknowns in the environment and document or update procedural response measures to security issues.
  8. Work on security-related projects, including assessment, design, and deployment of configuration management systems, and perform regular security assessments of existing infrastructure.
  9. Ensure due care is used to mitigate and treat risks to the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of systems or data.

Requirements

  1. C2 in English, other languages are a plus.
  2. Customer service skills.
  3. Passion for security.
  4. General understanding of security fundamentals.
  5. Problem Solving.
  6. Event and Incident Response.

Education/Experience

  1. Bachelor's degree from a three or four-year college or university.
  2. 0 – 2 years of relevant work experience.
