Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

 

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Global SEO Director to spearhead our organic growth initiatives by crafting and executing a high-impact SEO strategy that aligns with Sortlist's overarching business goals. This role requires a strategic leader who excels in driving organic visibility across multiple languages and regions while maintaining a balance between visionary thinking and hands-on technical expertise.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a robust SEO strategy that aligns with Sortlist's business goals.
  • Drive significant organic growth across all regions and ensure a cohesive global approach.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of SEO specialists.
  • Balance global SEO objectives with local market nuances.
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Content teams to integrate SEO best practices.
  • Utilize advanced SEO tools and analytics to monitor performance and identify opportunities.
  • Stay ahead of the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years of experience in SEO, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of site architecture, crawlability, page speed, mobile optimization, and handling technical audits.
  • Expertise in keyword research, content creation, optimization, and localizing content for different regions.
  • Strong experience in building high-quality backlinks, managing outreach, and tailoring off-page strategies to local markets.
  • Proficiency in using SEO tools (GA4, GSC, Ahrefs) and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, with strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
