About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to join our team. As a Travel Consultant, you will be the face of our company, communicating and responding to requests for current and new clients. Your role will involve searching and confirming travel reservations, providing consultation to clients, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Search and confirm travel reservations for clients
- Provide consultation to clients on travel policies and procedures
- Fulfill all requests regarding necessary regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas, etc.)
- Provide clients with industry information, such as low fares, exchange costs, and penalties
- Seek opportunities to review operational processes and commercial relationships with clients to provide suggestions for improvement
- Maintain and actively communicate knowledge of the state of the various travel industries supported
Requirements
- Experience as a travel agent or consultant
- Relevant skills in GDS Amadeus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German
- Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
