We are seeking a full-time Railway Spareparts Bidding Technician in Madrid to join our team.

Your Future Role

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a new challenge and apply your customer relationship skills to another level. You will work closely with young and proactive teammates to develop your skills and expertise.

As a Railway Spareparts Bidding Technician, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end relationship with parts customers, from sales order registration to payment, including master data management and preparation of key performance indicators. You will work closely with teams across the business (Services and Components) to achieve sales offers and deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct negotiations with customers independently and together with your manager, documenting all interactions.
  • Act as the interface between customers and internal departments to achieve sales offers.
  • Prepare all relevant tender documents for each customer.
  • Implement and collaborate on strategic sales targets.
  • Manage customer-oriented activities, including registration of offers, opportunities, and execution and follow-up of the same.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer queries.
  • Support and follow-up of business, KPIs, and digital tools.

About You

  • Degree in Technical Engineering, Market, Sales, or similar.
  • 3 years of experience in a customer service department.
  • Previous experience working with final clients or customer support.
  • Medium English level is a must.
  • Previous experience working with SAP, Office, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Desirable knowledge of the railway industry.
