Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Spanish Fundraising Intern to join our team in Barcelona. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the non-profit sector and a willingness to learn and grow with our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct fundraising research to identify new funding prospects in Spain, including trusts, foundations, and major donors.
- Write compelling funding proposals for trusts and foundations, utilizing knowledge of Street Child's projects and initiatives.
- Support day-to-day office tasks, including minute-taking during meetings and other administrative duties.
- Manage social media, update the website, and promote local and international events, as well as manage email campaigns and translation services.
- Volunteer coordination and event management: manage the existing volunteer base, recruit new volunteers, and support planned events and new ideas.
- Business development: build and manage collaborations and partnerships with other organizations and companies.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and innovative thinking with the ability to work independently.
- Interest in the non-profit sector and Street Child's mission.
- Excellent communication skills, with professional manner via telephone and email.
- A native Spanish level and professional English skills are required, with Catalan desirable.
- Document translation skills and knowledge of social media and Microsoft Office are necessary.
- Knowledge of the fundraising landscape in Spain and existing channels is a plus.
As a Street Child intern, you will gain valuable experience for your CV, improve your professional and personal skills, and have the opportunity to make a significant impact for a great cause. We offer cost-recovery on a monthly basis of up to 150€ if receipts are provided.
