Role: Strategic Commodity Buyer

Location: Burgos, Spain

At Gr. Antolin Irausa, S.A. (GANC), we are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Commodity Buyer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive commodity strategy that drives business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic commodity sourcing plan to meet business requirements and drive cost savings.
  • Manage a portfolio of suppliers to ensure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform procurement decisions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure a stable and reliable supply chain.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the automotive sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with ability to learn and adapt to new systems and tools.
