Job Summary:

We are seeking a Commodity Buyer to join our team in BENTELER Automotive. The successful candidate will be responsible for surveilling local procurement markets, informing Commodity Managers of relevant trends and developments, negotiating with regional suppliers, and executing supplier visits and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Surveil local procurement markets and inform Commodity Managers of relevant trends and developments.
  • Negotiate with regional suppliers in agreement with Commodity Manager.
  • Carry out request for Quotations, Bid Analysis, and supplier recommendations in agreement with Commodity Manager.
  • Execute supplier visits and audits with Supplier Quality Engineers.
  • Conduct cost analysis activities with Cost Analysis Team.
  • Provide assistance to Commodity Managers for tenders, regular audits, and supplier evaluations.
  • Responsible for everyday communication with suppliers.
  • Carry out contract management, including contract data maintenance.
  • Manage Engineering Change Process in production phase.
  • Troubleshoot and execute measures in the area of commodity reporting and performance measurement.
  • Develop and update templates, tools, and standards in conjunction with the Competence Center.
