Commercial Property Associate Underwriter

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Property Associate Underwriter to join our team at AIG. As a key member of our Underwriting Division, you will play a critical role in developing insurance solutions that address the exposures of companies and individuals.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in underwriting assigned risks to ensure accurate and timely decision-making.
- Develop relationships with brokers to identify cross-selling opportunities and drive sales process on new products.
- Assist the Front Desk Unit/Customer Service Group in maintaining a list of targets and generating submissions to meet business objectives.
- Utilize strong analysis and organizational skills to stay up-to-date on underwriting concepts, practices, procedures, and techniques.
- Relevant experience in insurance, specifically in Property/Energy/Construction business.
- Engineering degree (preferred), Law, Business Administration, or Economics university degree.
- Fluent English skills (written & spoken).
- Outgoing and entrepreneurial personality.
- Result-driven with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Negotiating, communications, and presentations skills.
- Strong analysis and organizational skills.
- Confident knowledge of systems and PC applications, especially utilizing spreadsheets.
