About the Role

At Simon-Kucher & Partners, we are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager IT to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing strategies for the IT category to optimize cost savings, quality, and supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, potential suppliers, and innovative solutions within the IT industry.
  • Partner with IT/Technology Leadership to align strategic IT initiatives with Procurement strategies and Business objectives.
  • Understand the IT supplier contract portfolio to identify synergy opportunities, expiring contracts, and optimization needs.
  • Lead supplier identification, evaluation, selection, and contract negotiation processes to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance through regular reviews, KPI tracking, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Procurement processes, efficiency, and effectiveness within the IT category.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement lifecycle.
  • Monitor and mitigate risks associated with the IT supply chain, including geopolitical, financial, and operational risks.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Manager IT with a strong background in IT procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier management. You should have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, and around seven years of proven experience in IT procurement roles, preferably in a multinational organization.
