Key Responsibilities- Database Management: Consolidate, maintain, and update databases to guarantee BI tools are properly updated on time, ensuring data accuracy. Communicate data changes both internally and externally.
- BI Tool Maintenance: Maintain BI tools (PowerBI) and improve existing dashboards; deep understanding of data models and tool functionalities; create new dashboards for identified business needs to provide the best source for reporting.
- Training and Support: Conduct BI tool trainings for business stakeholders on how to effectively use the tool and interpret data. In-depth knowledge of available data sources, leveraging them internally when appropriate.
- Market Performance Monitoring: Monitor brand performance monthly to provide strategic insights for marketing and sales teams and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Business Reporting: Update of business reports on a regular basis; creation of new reports for internal customer needs and improvement of existing ones.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform ad hoc analysis for specific business needs or business departments (finance, supply, regulatory, portfolio development, etc.).
- Market Research: Assist on market research projects with external partners: vendor selection, materials and questionnaires design and results analysis to deliver relevant insights for the business.
- Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new products research and development related to relevant markets to provide internal customers with useful insights.
We are looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills, and experiences:
- Bachelor's degree in business or life sciences. Master's degree in Data Analytics or similar, desirable.
- Keen interest in becoming a pharmaceutical industry expert.
- Knowledge and familiarity with PowerBI, preferable.
- Excellent communication (written, presentation, and oral, in both Spanish and English) and interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and objectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, paying attention to details.
- Comfortable in handling large datasets and information from multiple sources; ability to interpret data and insights and turn into a simple, quality, business-oriented narrative.
- Strong interest in engaging with internal customers to answer their business needs.
- Flexible, proactive, and collaborative approach to work; 'can do' & 'can learn' attitude.
- 'Think-out-of-the-box' mindset; willingness to innovate.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office, with MS Excel proficiency.
