About the Role

As a Business Analyst at Onyx Centersource, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improvement by analyzing customer needs and requirements. Your expertise will be essential in documenting functional requirements for our development teams, ensuring seamless communication between stakeholders and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and identify business problems and opportunities for improvement
  • Translate high-level objectives into testable, measurable, functional specifications
  • Create and maintain documentation, including file specifications, business process descriptions, and user guides
  • Collaborate with product, project, and development managers to ensure effective requirements gathering and documentation
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders to elicit, document, and refine business and functional requirements
  • Manage and communicate evolving requirements documents through the user story life cycle
  • Assist with prioritization of initial feature development and ongoing change requests
  • Review and approve development acceptance criteria
  • Validate that the final solution addresses customers' business needs and requirements
Requirements
  • Fluent English and Spanish language skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in science/technical fields or research studies
  • Previous experience in business or system analysis
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Empathic and able to understand different stakeholders' requirements
  • Positive team player with a focus on making a positive impact
Desired Skills
  • Experience working in an international company
  • Knowledge of hospitality or related business
  • Experience working with the SCRUM methodology
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
  • Experience and understanding of modern SDLC methodologies and best practices
  • Experience working with JIRA/Confluence
  • Some software/product development background
  • Understanding of main project management disciplines
