Payroll Specialist Spain

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at Alight. As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients with accurate and timely information, ensuring the successful delivery of payrolls, and maintaining the Client Solution workbook.
Main Responsibilities
- Client Engagement Support: Collaborate with Managers to ensure all client information is accurate and provided on time.
- Implementation and Go-Live Support: Provide guidance and support for all implementations and go-lives.
- Daily Functional Support: Offer daily functional support to teams to ensure the successful delivery of payrolls.
- Client Solution Workbook Maintenance: Responsible for the maintenance of the Client Solution workbook.
- Defined Work Instructions (DWIs) and Process Documentation: Responsible for updating, maintaining, and enforcing DWIs and other process documentation.
- System Maintenance Testing: Ensure and sign off system maintenance testing.
- Statement of Works Review: Support the review of the Statement of Works before it is shared with the Client to ensure its fit for purpose.
- Technical/Functional Issue Resolution: Responsible for the resolution of Technical/Functional issues escalated from the team and ensuring all system issues/defects are reported correctly and tickets are logged with the necessary details and evidence.
- Automation, Innovation, and Continuous Improvement: Work with Operational Management, Transformation, and Products to implement automation, innovation, and continuous improvement programs.
- Legislation Roadmap Management: Responsible for the management of the legislation roadmap and ensuring the team is upskilled in upcoming changes and processes are updated where needed.
- Year End Support: Support Year End.
- Sensitive and Confidential Information: Ability to recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information.
- Upsell Opportunities: Proactively identify upsell opportunities.
- Client Escalations and Lessons Learnt: Support Management with the resolution of client escalations, along with lessons learnt.
- Team Development: Upskill and develop team members through training delivery and coaching to enable them to fulfill their role.
- Security Standards: Adhere to ALIGHT Security Standards.
- Time Recording: Complete time recording on time and accurately.
- Team Meetings: Contribute to team meetings and raise any issues immediately to your Operations Manager.
- HR Announcements and Communications: Ensure you are up to date with all ALIGHT HR announcements and communications.
- Relationship Building: Build good relationships with all lines of businesses where appropriate.
- Project Participation: Participate in projects and activities as needed and assigned.
