Job Title: Payroll and Compliance Lead

Location: Lucena City, Quezon Province

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll and Compliance Lead to join our team at Carlos SuperDrug. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with labor laws and regulations, and maintaining a strong understanding of payroll administration and tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage payroll administration, including payroll services, payroll taxes, and payroll processing daily
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including garnishments and payroll tax knowledge
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with employees, management, and external stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in labor laws and regulations, and implement necessary changes to our payroll processes
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business-related courses, preferably in BS Accountancy, Management Accounting, or Financial Management
  • At least 1 year of experience in filing related BIR returns and handling tax payments
  • Experience in QuickBooks or any accounting-related application is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Certification in Payroll or related fields is a plus
