Job Overview:

As an Electrical System Installation Design Engineer at Airbus Defence and Space SAU, you will be responsible for designing and validating electrical harnesses and equipment installations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and validate electrical systems, including harnesses and equipment installations, to meet project requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other aircraft systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, installation procedures, and validation reports.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying knowledge to improve design and installation processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in electrical system design and installation, preferably in the aerospace industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical systems, including design principles, installation procedures, and validation methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish, with German or French as an asset.
