Splio Engineering Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Data Processing & Metrics team at Splio, a scale-up in the marketing and digital technology market. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for organizing and conducting 1o1's, ensuring the well-being of 5 team members, and empowering them to build better products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and set clear performance goals for team members.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and guidance to help team members thrive in their role and grow within the company.
  • Participate in the recruitment of new talents and ensure their integration in the team.
  • Ensure team organization, efficiency, and quality of service.
  • Define and monitor delivery KPIs to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Work closely with a Principal Engineer, Product Manager, and Facilitator to define technical strategy, product goals, and best practices.
Requirements:
  • A strong background in engineering, allowing you to handle new technologies and challenge technical choices.
  • Experience with languages such as SQL, Python, and frameworks/libraries like dbt.
  • Familiarity with environments like GCP and Airflow.
