Junior Business Developer Role

We are seeking a talented Junior Business Developer to join our team. As a key member of our User Infrastructure Team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic partnerships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and define new use cases for thermal infrared data, working closely with the Business Development Team to implement our Earth Observation Sales strategy.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and delivering high-quality imaging products.
  • Support internal projects, R&D initiatives, and client projects with your expertise in remote sensing and geospatial data processing.

Requirements:

  • BSc/MSc in Business, Remote Sensing, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years' experience in business development.
  • Enthusiasm for the New Space industry and satellite-based solutions.
  • Experience working with remote sensing data, particularly in the thermal infrared region (e.g., Landsat, Aster, Sentinel-3, MODIS).
  • Knowledge of GIS and geospatial data processing, as well as remote sensing libraries and processing techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with remote sensing thermal data use cases (e.g., wildfires, precision agriculture).
  • Proficiency in Python or R programming languages, with experience in geospatial image processing using libraries such as Rasterio, Xarray, Geopandas, pyproj, GDAL, NetCDF, Zarr, and COG.
