About the Role


The estimated salary for this position is £120,000 - £180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Director of Technology Operations - EMEA to play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our technology across the region.



Job Description


As a key member of our Enterprise Technology team, you will lead the delivery of comprehensive end-user support, overseeing agile teams that provide exceptional service and innovative solutions. Your strategic leadership will be essential in driving operational excellence, enhancing user productivity, and contributing to WPP's broader Enterprise Technology transformation.



Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and execute a regional ET operations strategy aligned with WPP's overarching Technology Operations and ET strategy
  • Partner with Cluster Directors, the Senior Director of Tech Ops, and the broader Tech Ops management team to translate business priorities into actionable ET initiatives
  • Identify and champion technology opportunities to optimize business processes, enhance efficiency, and drive innovation within the region
  • Manage the regional Tech Ops budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effectiveness
  • Oversee the day-to-day technology operations within the region, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional end-user support through deskside and executive support teams
  • Effectively balance the demands and priorities of various clusters with available resources across regional teams
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize service quality and reduce costs
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team of technology professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous growth

  • A proven track record in IT or technology operations, with a strong understanding of enterprise technology environments
