Revenue Systems Specialist

Vueling is a leading low-cost airline in Europe, and we're looking for a skilled Revenue Systems Specialist to join our team.

Job Purpose: As a Revenue Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and developing initiatives that improve the revenue management ecosystem, ensuring revenue maximization.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Ensure robust and efficient operation of systems
  • Align technological developments with user needs
  • Provide data for decision-making
  • Empower employees to fulfill their job mission

Main Responsibilities - Tasks:

  • Coordinate internal projects in the Revenue area, especially with inventory and pricing
  • Coordinate with external providers to implement new system functionalities
  • Work closely with IT and Data teams to implement new developments and functionalities
  • Create reporting to help inventory gain information from system databases

Main Relationships:

  • IT and Data, External providers, Network and Ancillaries

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field

Experience:

  • Proficiency in data analysis and programming languages such as SQL, Python, and BI tools
  • Knowledge of Navitaire and Accelya systems (preferred)
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in revenue management or commercial

Competencies:

  • Comfortable with IT systems and technologies
  • Proven track record of effective stakeholder management and project management skills
  • Ability to use data query (SQL) tools and construct advanced analytics using Python
  • Strong analytic capabilities, capability to build and use data to guide decision-making
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to inspire and guide transversal teams to work towards a common goal
