International Director of Operations

SmartRental Group is a dynamic company dedicated to property management for the tourism and catering sector. We aim to be the European leader in the market, providing diverse solutions for various accommodation needs.

As our International Director of Operations, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the operations of our hotels in a specific geographical area. Your goal will be to ensure and improve performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability through effective methods and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage daily hotel operations, including budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, and performance reviews.
  • Implement and comply with company policies and standards, as well as coordinate capital improvements and property improvement plans.
  • Oversee service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and financial measurements, including auditing.
  • Identify operational performance gaps and implement measures to correct deficiencies.
  • Partner closely with the COO and work according to departmental guidelines and priorities.
  • Implement and manage hotel daily quality processes, including communicating goals, empowering team members, and measuring satisfaction.
  • Monitor and develop team member performance, particularly hotel managers and departmental managers.
  • Control operating expenses and propose corrective initiatives.
  • Monitor PLs and STR reports.
Requirements:
  • Hospitality management or equivalent work experience.
  • 10 years' experience with international hotel chains.
  • 5-year multi-property management experience.
  • Knowledge of PMS and POS.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, additional languages a plus.
  • Driving license B.
  • Flexibility to travel.
