International Regional Director of Operations

SmartRental Group is a dynamic company dedicated to property management for tourism and catering sectors. We aim to be the European leader in the market, offering diverse solutions for various accommodation needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct daily hotel operations, ensuring performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Oversee hotel budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and performance reviews.
  • Implement and comply with company policies and standards.
  • Coordinate capital improvements and property improvement plans.
  • Monitor service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and compliance with SOPs.
  • Identify operational performance gaps and implement corrective measures.
  • Partner with the COO to follow departmental guidelines and priorities.
  • Manage daily quality processes, including communication of goals and team member empowerment.
  • Monitor and develop team member performance, especially hotel managers and departmental managers.
  • Control operating expenses and propose corrective initiatives.
  • Monitor P&Ls and STR reports.
  • Update policies and procedures for hotels in the assigned geographical area.
  • Conduct audits of hotels and set improvement plans.
  • Identify and develop talents in collaboration with the HR department.
  • Analyze results and develop improvement action plans.
  • Communicate effectively with hotel directors, Central Office, and COO.
  • Visit hotels and manage teams to promote a positive work environment.
  • Coordinate preopening operations of new hotels and prepare operational and payroll budgets.
  • Select new hotel directors and key positions in collaboration with HR.
  • Support the Business Development department in finding new hotel projects.
Requirements
  • Hospitality Management or equivalent work experience.
  • 10 years' experience with international hotel chains.
  • 5 years of multi-property management experience.
  • Knowledge of PMS and POS.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Driving license B.
  • Flexibility to travel.
