About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join our team in Madrid, Spain. As a key member of our global legal team, you will play a critical role in supporting our operations and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, draft, and negotiate all forms of company contracts, including NDAs, SaaS agreements, professional services agreements, service level agreements, partner agreements, and vendor agreements.
  • Develop and implement standard templates, forms, and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Provide training to sales and services teams on processes, compliance, and new legislation to ensure they are equipped to navigate complex contractual obligations.
  • Advise sales executives and management on contractual obligations and interpret terms and conditions to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Advise different teams across the company on mitigating legal risks and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Handle other project-based work within the scope of the legal department responsibilities on an as-needed basis.
Requirements
  • At least two years' experience as a corporate attorney providing legal advice and negotiating agreements in a software/technology/start-up environment, preferably with an international company.
  • Ability to demonstrate success working with sales teams in customer negotiations and a strong understanding of contract law and software contract requirements.
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish, French, and English is a hard requirement.
  • Familiarity with data protection laws such as the GDPR and ability to keep abreast of legal developments, particularly EU data regulations.
