About the Role
As a Senior Director of Clinical Operations Management at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and development of our Clinical Operations team in EMEA. You will be responsible for leading and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality clinical projects and programs within cost, time, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to develop and implement clinical operations strategies and plans.
- Partner with colleagues in the wider Global Clinical Development team to build and deliver creative and customized solutions for our clients' global clinical operations needs.
- Develop and elevate the leadership skills of the 1st and 2nd level People Manager team within Global Clinical Operations through direct supervision and mentoring.
- Implement flexible operational strategies that can be adjusted to fit custom client needs.
- Serve in a client leadership role as the EMEA Region Lead, providing oversight for the region.
- Develop and implement recruiting, hiring, and resourcing strategies for Clinical Operations.
- Support the growth of Clinical Operations in 2024.
Requirements
- Proven experience in clinical operations management, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects and programs.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to develop and implement clinical operations strategies and plans.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
