Tresca Ingeniería is a leading company in projects related to decarbonisation, renewable fuels, and energy storage plants. We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our headquarters in León or Asturias.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Structural Engineer with experience in designing, calculating, and specifying foundations and metallic and concrete structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in using design and calculation software based on 3D models and be familiar with the Spanish building and structural safety regulation and international reference standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop conceptual engineering and prefeasibility and feasibility studies
  • Pre-dimensioning, calculation, and specification of earth moving, drainage, foundations, structures, etc.
  • Conduct specific studies related to structural pathologies, reinforcements, repairs, and improvements in foundations, structures, buildings, and transport systems
  • Write basic and execution projects
  • Advise clients and accompany them in decision-making
  • Define and participate in the whole equipment and installation purchasing process
  • Communicate with clients' technical managers with respect to the works of their specialization

Requirements

  • Experience in the design, calculation, and specification of foundations and metallic and concrete structures
  • Use of design and calculation software based on 3D models
  • Familiarity with the Spanish building and structural safety regulation and international reference standards
  • Intermediate/advanced level in the use of engineering and office basic tools: Autocad, Microsoft Project, Presto, Office, etc.
  • B2 level of English or higher
