About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Master Data Coordinator to join our Global Planning Team at dsm-firmenich. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and centralizing master data activities within the business unit, ensuring alignment with group planning data owners and deploying standards correctly.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act as the primary point of contact for Master Data related activities, ensuring standards are aligned with group planning data owners and deployed correctly in the Taste business unit.
  2. Coordinate with BU data responsibles to ensure tasks and reviews are completed to set up Master Data correctly.
  3. Centralize the execution of Master Data tasks that are more efficient to be handled by this role, while ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
  4. Propose and execute initiatives to improve Master Data coordination, monitoring, and issue resolution.
  5. Ensure Master Data best practices are harmonized across regions and within the global team.
  6. Participate in planning related projects to ensure BU requirements are captured and new ways of working are embraced by stakeholders.
  7. Gather user stories that imply significant value to planning accuracy, processes, automations, or usability of tools.
  8. Monitor and quantify global MD effectiveness KPIs to valorize the impact of initiatives.

Requirements
  1. Experience with planning related Master Data, both on demand and supply side.
  2. Experience with SAP and Kinaxis.
  3. Experience with SAP-APO is a plus.
  4. Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  5. Ability to develop solutions to various problems by analyzing data, reasoning options, and presenting a recommended solution.
  6. Ability to communicate with different levels of stakeholders.
  7. Resilience, persistence, and a positive attitude in front of difficulties.
  8. Prioritization and time management skills.
  9. A fresh perspective with constructive challenges to existing measures and ways of working.
  10. Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
  11. Actively collaborating with team members and stakeholders to achieve objectives towards a common goal.
