About the Role

The Workshop is seeking a skilled HR Manager to establish and manage our HR function in Spain and the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR practices and processes that align with our company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish HR operations across Spain and the UK, collaborating with senior leadership and supporting the transition of employees.
  • Hire, manage, and develop a team of people professionals across both locations, maintaining day-to-day operational efficiency.
  • Develop and enhance HR practices and processes, setting up policies and procedures to foster a positive culture and engagement.
  • Implement and maintain an effective annual performance review process, contributing to the identification, development, and retention of key talent.
  • Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and other HR-related functions, staying updated with relevant legislation in Spain and the UK.

Requirements:

  • Proven HR experience in a multilingual environment, preferably in the IT industry.
  • Demonstrated success as a manager in supporting the growth and development of direct reports.
  • CIPD qualified or equivalent.
  • Expertise in current Spanish and UK employment laws and HR-related legislation.
  • Excellent work ethic, strong team player, and mentoring approach to development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
  • High degree of adaptability and flexibility to change.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
