Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team at The Workshop. This role will be instrumental in enriching the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage full employee life cycle, onboarding, retention, engagement, performance, recognition, career development, and offboarding.
  • Provide day-to-day support and guidance to employees and managers with end-to-end HR-related queries and processes.
  • Advise on HR policies, procedures, and manage independently HR administration.
Employment Law, Employee Relations & Compliance:
  • Provide advice and expertise in local employment law and practices.
  • Support HR Manager in continuously managing employee relation cases and reviewing the company's people processes, implementing accurate up-to-date processes, and ensuring compliance across the board.
HR Documentation & HRIS and Employee Data Management:
  • Prepare monthly HR documentation and files (Vacation days, Payroll documentation, Performance appraisals, required legislation documentation, Visa documentation, Health / Insurance matter documentation).
  • Manage year-end HR documentation of the company.
  • Proactively monitor and review any legislation changes.
HR Projects:
  • Contribute to HR projects with focus on building and setting up new business entities, e.g., reviewing existing workflows and data fields and working towards alignment and optimization of HRIS data platform.
  • Continuous support in implementation of HR systems and payroll provider.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Liaise effectively with external stakeholders (Payroll, Insurance, Pension other 3rd party vendors).
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders such as Procurement, Workplace, Finance, and Management.

What we look for in a candidate:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant HR generalist experience in Spain.
