Job Overview
Reporting to the Chemfeed Manager for the Iberia region, the successful candidate will assume the role of Project Engineer within the Chemfeed team.
This position involves delivering technical expertise, project oversight, and operational support for chemical dosing and control systems. The role also encompasses providing guidance and recommendations for on-site activities related to various chemical feed and water treatment systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the engineering team on design documentation, material specifications, and equipment evaluations for Chemfeed projects.
- Provide on-site technical assistance for chemical dosing systems and other water treatment solutions.
- Conduct site visits to gather or provide engineering data as needed.
- Engage with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to discuss current or prospective engineering initiatives.
- Ensure that installations and operations adhere to industry standards and client specifications by preparing detailed project documentation and technical drawings.
- Guarantee compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements by overseeing installation, manufacturing, and testing processes.
- Address specialized engineering challenges by applying established principles and standards.
- Suggest innovative instrumentation solutions and enhancements to existing systems.
- Facilitate technical discussions with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Drive continuous improvement in documentation practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in the field or within water treatment systems is advantageous.
- Familiarity with essential processes related to water treatment facilities is preferred.
- Ability to produce documentation for project execution effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, particularly in water treatment projects, is a plus.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
- Fluency in Spanish is essential.
- A valid driver's license for Spain is required.
