Job Title: Finance Team Lead - Strategic Financial Management

Mass Markets is seeking an accomplished and detail-oriented Finance Team Lead to lead our finance department. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, and a proven track record in financial management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and Mentor a Team of Finance Professionals: Provide guidance, coaching, and support to a team of finance professionals to ensure the success of the finance department.
  2. Foster a Collaborative Work Environment: Create a collaborative and high-performance work environment within the finance team to drive results and achieve goals.
  3. Allocate Responsibilities and Set Clear Objectives: Allocate responsibilities and set clear objectives to ensure the team's success and achieve strategic goals.
  4. Oversee Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  5. Conduct Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and provide insights into financial performance and trends.
  6. Lead Budget Development: Lead the development and monitoring of budgets in collaboration with department heads to ensure alignment between financial goals and organizational objectives.
  7. Oversee Financial Forecasts: Oversee the preparation of financial forecasts, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and improving financial processes.
  8. Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
  9. Manage Audits: Manage the coordination of internal and external audits, addressing audit findings and implementing recommendations.
  10. Improve Financial Processes: Continuously assess and improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  11. Implement Best Practices: Implement best practices in financial management and reporting to drive results and achieve goals.
  12. Evaluate Financial Systems: Evaluate and recommend enhancements to financial systems and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  13. Collaborate with Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant financial information and support organizational initiatives.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting: A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required.
  2. Leadership Experience: 5+ years of experience in a leadership role within a finance team is required.
  3. Accounting Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
  4. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  5. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
