Your Opportunity:

New Relic is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our Infrastructure Instrumentation organization in Europe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling Rust and Go clients/projects as well as their support tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to Open Source and grow your reputation and skills.
  • Collaborate with team members to discuss and implement service improvements, researching new tools and services to solve complex problems.
  • Ship incrementally and often, maintaining a constant flow of feedback on work.
  • Work in an agile environment with a DevOps approach, participating in second-layer support rotations.

Requirements:

  • At least three years of experience with a passion for open source software, Linux systems, software architectures, and Rust programming.
  • Autonomy, cross-functionality, and agility in a fast-paced environment focused on delivering high-quality software.
  • Self-motivation, quick learning, accountability, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Collaboration with colleagues in important decisions and shared code ownership.
