Job Title: Field Service Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Specialist to join our team at Valmet. As a Field Service Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their equipment is running at optimal levels and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to customers, including on-site and remote assistance
  • Lead project teams to deliver complex service projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with Valmet's safety and quality standards
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the paper or fiber industry
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with experience in project management and team leadership
