Join Valmet Inc. as a Field Service Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Specialist to join our team in Zaragoza, Spain. As a Field Service Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their equipment is running at optimal levels and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce quotations for field service activities and provide technical support in sales phase of projects
  • Lead technical and financial responsibility of services, ensuring efficient and effective project organization
  • Plan and coordinate all activities during service execution, including engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, logistics, installation, and commissioning
  • Provide assistance for installation and commissioning of services, equipment, or components
  • Coordinate pre-site and on-site activities, including foremen, subcontractors, safety experts, and customers
  • Keep accurate records of job progress, delays, problems, deliveries, changes, extras, and engineering and fabrication errors
  • Report back on completed services, outlining activities carried out, faults found, and future recommendations for improving service offering
  • Lead customer communication on all service aspects and ensure safety protocols are followed
Requirements:
  • M.Sc or B.Sc in Engineering field or at least 3 years' experience in Project management
  • Experience in similar position (at least 3 years in paper/fiber services)
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in Spanish and English
  • Ability to work autonomously with a strong sense of proactivity and initiative
  • Fluent negotiator, strong problem solver, and effective time manager
  • Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels
