Position Overview
In light of our ongoing expansion, we are on the lookout for a Technical Training Instructor to join our Engineering Training division. This role is ideal for individuals who possess a passion for aviation and a desire to impart knowledge on a variety of aircraft engineering subjects to our personnel, whether they are at the beginning of their careers or seasoned professionals. We seek a candidate who will champion training initiatives and serve as an ambassador for the high standards we uphold within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive technical training to engineering personnel, adhering to the highest industry standards, which includes but is not limited to:
- Conducting training aligned with business requirements across all airlines
- Facilitating Part 145 theoretical and practical training
- Providing specialized training tailored to specific aircraft types
- Design and enhance existing technical training programs
- Create instructional materials, including course outlines, lesson plans, background resources, and training aids
- Maintain familiarity with EASA regulations and regularly review all procedures relevant to the training courses
- Develop and approve training materials utilizing diverse delivery methods (classroom, eLearning, virtual, etc.)
- Effectively deliver technical training in a practical and engaging manner
- Oversee and improve training facilities to enhance learning opportunities across all training levels
- Exhibit a proactive, hands-on approach to training
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to create effective training programs that meet outlined requirements
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally

Qualifications
- Possession of a UK/EASA Part 66 Licence or an Aerospace Engineering degree, or proven experience in aircraft technical training
- Hands-on experience in aircraft engineering and maintenance
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and procedural reviews
- Attention to detail and the ability to escalate issues to management
- Capability to plan and adhere to deadlines set by management
- Proficient in Office 365, with a willingness to learn new software tools
- Ability to provide constructive feedback regarding compliance issues
- Effective communication skills across various platforms (verbal, face-to-face, virtual)
- Open-mindedness and eagerness to acquire new skills and contribute fresh ideas
- Strong work ethic and accountability for timely task completion
- Flexibility and adaptability to change
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proactive problem-solving skills to address issues with management
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must hold a valid UK/EU passport and be willing to travel as required by the business (up to 70%)
