Position Overview

In light of our ongoing expansion, we are seeking a dedicated Technical Training Instructor to become part of our Engineering Training division. This role is ideal for individuals who possess a passion for aviation and a desire to impart knowledge on a variety of aircraft engineering subjects to our personnel, whether they are at the beginning of their careers or seasoned professionals. The selected candidate will serve as a training advocate, upholding the exceptional standards we are known for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive technical training to engineering personnel, ensuring adherence to the highest industry benchmarks, including but not limited to:
    • Training aligned with business requirements across all airlines
    • Part 145 theoretical and practical training
    • Specialized type-specific training
  • Enhance existing training programs and develop new instructional materials (course outlines, lesson plans, background content, training aids).
  • Maintain familiarity with EASA regulations and regularly review relevant procedures and regulations.
  • Utilize diverse training delivery methods (classroom, eLearning, virtual) to develop and approve training materials.
  • Deliver technical training in a practical and engaging manner.
  • Oversee the development and upkeep of training centers to foster learning across all training levels.
  • Exhibit a proactive, hands-on approach to training.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the capability to design effective training programs that meet specified requirements.
  • Communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally, and possess strong presentation skills.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for an individual with experience in aircraft technical training or aircraft engineering. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, contribute innovative ideas to the training team, and engage openly with a diverse network. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the role involves collaboration with individuals from various backgrounds and age groups. We value meticulousness, a positive attitude, and an open-minded approach.

Essential Qualifications

  • Possession of a UK/EASA Part 66 License or an Aerospace Engineering degree, or demonstrable experience in aircraft technical training.
  • Hands-on experience in aircraft engineering.
  • Familiarity with compliance regulations and procedures.
  • A keen attention to detail and the ability to escalate issues appropriately.
  • Strong planning skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Office 365, with a willingness to learn new software tools.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback regarding compliance issues.
  • Effective communication skills across various formats (verbal, face-to-face, virtual).
  • Open-mindedness and eagerness to acquire new skills and contribute fresh ideas.
  • Strong work ethic and accountability for timely task completion.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate solutions to management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must hold a valid UK/EU passport and be willing to travel as required.
