Academic Support Specialist
We are seeking an Academic Support Specialist to join our team at Yulife. As an Academic Support Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the academic success of our students. Your primary responsibility will be to assist students with their assessments, including 1-1s, group tutorials, and scaffolded assessment feedback sessions. You will also be responsible for developing and delivering interactive videos, podcasts, and activities that can be shared on our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and in-class activities.
About the Role
As an Academic Support Specialist, you will be working closely with our students to provide them with the support they need to succeed in their academic programs. You will be responsible for:
- Assisting students with their assessments, including 1-1s, group tutorials, and scaffolded assessment feedback sessions
- Developing and delivering interactive videos, podcasts, and activities that can be shared on our VLE and in-class activities
- Working closely with our students to provide them with the support they need to succeed in their academic programs
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have an honours degree in an appropriate subject area, some teaching or coaching experience, and have or be willing to attain Advance HE Associate/Fellowship. You must be confident in supporting a diverse cohort of students and have the ability to effectively communicate scaffolded material.
