Position: Systems & Safety Analysis Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning of workloads and allocation of resources for the Systems and Safety Analysis division across Europe, managing a team of over 25 engineers situated in multiple locations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a diverse team of engineers with integrated skills in areas such as safety analysis, fluid systems, and procedural development, supporting both operational facilities and new project initiatives.
- Drive organizational development and personnel growth while implementing a Global Competency Model in all management practices.
- Facilitate effective communication with relevant functional teams and senior management.
- Collaborate closely with business units in EMEA and the Americas to ensure alignment of resources and development of necessary skill sets.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires, establishing mentoring and professional development plans.
- Define daily operational goals in accordance with project objectives for individuals or teams, ensuring compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards through proper training and adherence to established policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant engineering experience, demonstrating progressively responsible leadership capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of nuclear power plant design; experience in safety and severe accident analysis is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and foster cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to delegate tasks effectively and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and conducting effective presentations and meetings.
- Proficient in gathering and analyzing feedback, evaluating options, and making informed decisions.
- Willingness to travel for project-related activities, with travel expected to be less than 20%.
- Open to candidates located in various European countries, with a strong capability to manage a geographically dispersed team; proficiency in multiple languages, particularly English, is preferred.
