Job Title: Experienced Systems Safety Engineer

Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly skilled Systems Safety Engineer to join our Digital Engineering (DE) Global Center. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safety of our aircraft through the development, deployment, and execution of system safety analysis, methods, and solutions using a model-based approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure airplane level safety analysis are conducted effectively
  • Develop and deploy system safety analysis methods and solutions using model-based engineering tools
  • Conduct research in systems engineering and systems safety, with a focus on model-based safety analysis and model-based systems engineering
  • Provide safety design and analysis expertise to program stakeholders and leadership
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in systems, systems safety, hardware, or software development
  • Experience with ARP4754B, ARP4761A, MIL-STD-882E, or similar standards
